The Davidwache, well known to fans of crime shows, is a police station famous throughout Germany.
This police station, in a beautiful brick building from the beginning of the 20th century, is one of the smallest but most famous in Germany! It is indeed the setting for many police series, of which the country is a great producer. If you follow German series, you might recognize it. Pete Best and Paul McCartney even spent the night there! Obviously, it is not visited, except if one needs the police services... The Davidwache has become so cult that you can find t-shirts and mugs with its effigy.
