KRAMERAMTSSTUBEN
An architectural ensemble preserved from the bombing and which testifies to the bourgeois life in old Hamburg.
Below the Michaeliskirche, this set of th century houses is one of the few to have been preserved. These are old bourgeois houses where widows of the grocers guild were housed by the municipality. The beautiful brick-framed facades are now home to galleries, restaurants and handicraft shops, as well as a small museum that lets you visit one of these houses. Completely muséifiée, this street is the last example of civilian homes in a courtyard in old Hamburg.
