Open at this location since 1912, this luxury department store is the Hamburg equivalent of the Parisian Bon Marché. Perfume, fashion, leather goods, decoration and cosmetics, you can find the cream of the crop in this temple of refinement: Gucci, Saint Laurent, Louboutin, Balenciaga, Valentino, Dior, Givenchy, etc. There are also some great restaurants on the top floor, including Yoshi, a very famous Japanese restaurant, and Billy the Butcher, a very chic burger bar. The Café Maxim, with its balcony on the^2nd floor, offers a fantastic view of the Alster.
