KANDIE SHOP
A rock'n'roll pastry shop in the St. Pauli district.
Kandie Shop is the irreverence of Sankt-Pauli: good coffee and good cakes, just like in the trendy tea shops of the Schanzenviertel, but without the usual pastel decor that you find all over Hamburg as soon as you serve tea and cookies. No, here you drink your latte in a cup that hijacks the Starbucks logo (Kandiebucks Coffee) and eat your muffin in a rock n' roll decor. The sign of this crazy shop says it all: hijacked Barbie logo and ghetto-blasters embedded in the façade.
