HOSPICE DU SAINT-ESPRIT
A superb medieval hospice whose substance dates back to the 13th century.
This superb building, whose construction dates back to the end of the 13th century, was founded by the Hospitaller Brothers of the Holy Spirit. Since the Middle Ages, the sick and the elderly were cared for there. Its brick facade is composed of three gables decorated with four thin turrets. The hospice was one of the starting points of the pilgrimage to Compostela, together with the church of St. James. The gothic hall - former church - is remarkable and you can have a look in a former "cabin" used as a room for the needy.
