The Großer Plöner See is a gigantic lake with an area of 28 km2 and is the largest lake in Schleswig-Holstein and the tenth largest in Germany. In some places it is up to 56 meters deep. It is located in the heart of the "Holsteinische Schweiz", a popular vacation destination for water sports enthusiasts: canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddle, swimming, diving, etc. There are many possible activities.
