A very nice beer garden in a park in the north of Kiel.
At Forstbaumschule, there is a wide variety of beers and good German and international food (flammekueches, fish dishes, burgers, and also good vegetarian options). In the middle of a park (the oldest in Kiel!), it is a very nice beer garden that reminds a bit of the ones in Munich. A popular address for locals with its authentic setting. Quite far from the city center, it takes 20 minutes by bus to get there or a good hour on foot to walk along the Kiel fjord.
