Did you know that every town hall in Germany has a basement restaurant? This one has been in continuous operation since 1405. The setting is well worth a visit. A superb room is adorned with an ogival vaulted ceiling. The restaurant serves typical German cuisine with a few regional specialties, including the famous"Original Bremer Knipp" sausage. The pub, which has been open since the Middle Ages, boasts an extensive wine list, as well as a number of fine beers. The choice is yours!
