SCHNOORVIERTEL - SCHNOOR DISTRICT
Neighborhood with a large church, craftsmen's and fishermen's houses, cafés, pubs, restaurants, boutiques, patisserie...
These narrow streets lined with old houses are the last vestiges of the medieval quarter of Bremen. Most of these houses date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Some of them, built during the Renaissance, have been meticulously restored. The most famous house in the district, the Maison du Navire on Satvendamm Street, dates back to 1630, while the oldest buildings are the Brasilhaus, dating back to 1402, and the Packau, in its original state, dating back to 1401.
