LA TOCANTE
Restaurant preserving its Alsatian style offering Alsatian dishes in Vendenheim.
At La Tocante, we go there mainly for the setting. This former post house has been restored while preserving its Alsatian style. It is said that Napoleon I had his staff and their horses stay there when he was in Alsace. The decoration, composed of old objects that were used in traditional winstubs: tiled stove, kitchen utensils, old photos.... The leader and the team in the room has changed, and this has created a new dynamism. On the side of the menu, you will find Alsatian dishes such as royal sauerkraut, flambé pie, fleischkiechele, ham gratinated in munster, and more classic dishes... The scenery is really worth the trip.

Les escargots étaient complètement carbonisés et immangeables.
Après m'être plaint au service, j'en ai reçu de nouveaux qui avaient bon goût.
Pour le plat principal, la viande était malheureusement morte brûlée... dommage pour 18 euros...
