KAISERPFALZ - IMPERIAL PALACE
Imperial palace in Goslar, built between 1039 and 1056 and subsequently restored with fine medieval German secular buildings.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the imperial palace, built in 1039, stands imposingly on its mound. The monument was restored in the second half of the 19th century. According to experts, it is one of the finest secular medieval buildings in Germany. The 12th-century Chapel of St. Ulrich houses the tomb of Henry III.
