COLLÉGIALE SAINT SERVAIS
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994 alongside Quedlinburg's Old Town and Castle, the Collegiate Church of St. Servais is a Romanesque church built between 1070 and 1129. It is dedicated to Saint-Servais and Saint-Denis. During the Reformation, Protestant worship was practiced here, as it is today. The architecture of the collegiate church is impressive, with its three naves. Yet the sobriety of the whole is striking, especially in the interior. It's a far cry from the grandiloquent churches of Bavaria, but a magnificent one.
