MESSETURM
A tall, 256-metre tower built in 1991 with sixty-three storeys topped by a pointed dome in Frankfurt am Main.
The Exhibition Administration is housed in one of Europe's tallest towers (256 meters), built in 1991. When you arrive in the city by car or motorcycle, it's the easiest monument to spot for miles around: its distinctive shape has earned it the nickname "the pen", with its sixty-three storeys topped by a pointed dome. At its feet stands an immense all-steel sculpture created by the American Borowski, depicting a worker with a hammer.
