In the past, this 1898 building was the town house of a wealthy merchant, in 1974 it was transformed into a hotel, while respecting the old structure. In 2008, the hotelier Wilfried Meuser bought the building and began to renovate it with great care. Quiet and surrounded by period furniture, antiques and wall fabrics, it is more like a small Bed & Breakfast in the countryside in England than in the centre of a large city with several hundred thousand inhabitants.
