AUGUSTUSBURG CASTLE
This rococo castle, built between 1725 and 1768, is located in Brühl.
The château, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built between 1725 and 1768. It is a magnificent example of 18th-century Rococo architecture. Undertaken for the Prince-Elector and Archbishop of Cologne, Clemens August, the interior decoration was entrusted to a French architect of the Bavarian court, François de Cuvilliés. After your visit, take a stroll around the gardens, which are a delight in fine weather. A 20-minute walk through the park takes you to the second castle, Jagdschloss Falkenlust.

Il faut voir la richesse des intérieurs pour le croire ! C'est à couper le souffle !
Le style rococo est poussé à son maximum. Je conseille vraiment la visite avec les audioguide très très bien réalisé.
