Boppard est vraiment l'endroit idéal où se poser pour parcourir les vallées du Rhin et de la Moselle. On trouve 2 supermarchés joignables à pied, la gare est sur la ligne de tous les trains, tant ICE que régionaux. Cerise sur le gâteau, en échange de la taxe touristique, tous les hébergements offrent un pass qui permet d'utiliser gratuitement et à volonté tous les transports régionaux hors bac. Toutes les croisières y stoppent.
