The public transport system is very efficient. The Platz der deutschen Einheit is one of the main correspondence centres. To reach Mainz, or to the west and north of Wiesbaden, you can take a bus from there. To go east and south, take the bus to Luisenplatz station. For all directions, Bahnhofplatz.
It is easy to walk from the station to the city centre, the station being 1 km from the centre, or only 15 minutes on foot. The walk will be an opportunity to discover the superb residences of the early 20th century on Bahnhofstrasse.
