BIEBRICH CASTLE
Red and white Baroque castle built between 1700 and 1750 in Wiesbaden, now used as a performance venue.
From the Rhine, a magnificent red-and-white Baroque building stands out from the landscape. It's Biebrich Castle, set on the banks of the river in the heart of the Schlosspark. Built as the residence of the Princes of Nassau between 1700 and 1750, it is now used as a performance venue. The great hall is sometimes used for receptions and concerts. The building is distinguished by its mullioned windows and circular rotunda, which cuts through the central wing. If you can't visit the château, you can take a stroll in the vast English garden.
