NEROBERG
At 245 meters above sea level in the Taunus forest, this site offers a remarkable view of the city of Wiesbaden.
Following the Taunustrasse, then the Nerotal, you reach the edge of the magnificent Taunus forest, where the Neroberg rises to 245 meters. The walk up Wiesbaden's posh hill is pleasant in fine weather (albeit a little crowded) and provides a remarkable view of the city from its summit. You can also visit the superb little 19th-century Greek Orthodox chapel, recognizable by its golden onion-shaped steeples. There's also the Monopteros monument. The site can be reached by funicular.
