ELECTOR'S PALACE
A neoclassical castle with a large, two-tone central wing now housing the town's administration.
With its strikingly symmetrical gardens, the Prince Electors' Palace is a perfect example of neoclassical architecture. A large, two-tone central wing faces the Rhine, while the two others curve harmoniously towards the park and the city. The building's origins date back to the court's move from Trier to Koblenz. Destroyed almost entirely during the Second World War, it was carefully restored and now houses the city's administration.
