ROMAN-GERMANIC MUSEUM
Museum in the residence of the Prince Electors Palatine, housing a rich collection of prehistoric and ancient artefacts.
Until 2018, the Central Roman-Germanic Museum and its rich collection of prehistoric and ancient artefacts were housed in the residence of the Prince Electors Palatine. It is due to reopen on Neutorstraße in a new structure, but not before 2026, next to the Museum of Ancient Navigation. Lovers of ancient and Roman history will therefore be able to redirect themselves to the latter museum, as well as to the regional museum, which exhibits Roman collections. The rich collections of the Roman-Germanic Museum will await a new home.
