HOTEL ZUM RITTER
You will not fail to admire its superb baroque facade in the market square. Built in 1592, it is the oldest house in the city. "The charming vermeille facade, damascened with gold, still virgin, intact and proud," according to Victor Hugo, hides a prestigious hotel with a rustic and refined décor. A remarkable staircase with wrought iron handrails leads to a maze of rooms. Some have a wooden pediment, white walls, carpet in carmine red or azure blue. These rooms are worthy of a castle, with large windows, box springs and beautiful wooden furniture. In short, a simple and refined luxury. The hotel's restaurant, Ritterstube, has a very beautiful dining room all in woodwork. You can feel the history in this building which has a lot of charm. Good value for money.
