MUSEUM OF PHARMACY
Museum evoking the type of care provided over the centuries and its sociological and economic impact through the use of materials.
The Museum of Pharmacy occupies some rooms in the right wing of the castle's inner courtyard. The visit is fascinating. The pretty whitewashed rooms display vials and ointments. They evoke the type of care that was given to patients over the centuries and the impact that this had on the sociological and economic level. It is an original idea to dedicate a place to all the utensils, books and pharmaceutical instruments of the last centuries. Unexpected and instructive. A room below exposes the instruments used for the preparation of elixirs, medicines, but also those used in this perpetual quest to change lead into gold... We enter then in the field of the alchemy.
