PHILOSOPHENWEG
The path leads past old houses, a red castle and many of Heidelberg's exotic plants.
The best way is to cross the Neckar via the Alte Brücke. One of the most beautiful walks is then offered to you: the Philosophers' Path. The city from this side of the river is as magical and beautiful as it promises to be. The old houses nestled in the greenery and the red castle that dominates them form a moving spectacle. The paths of the Philosopher's Path, lined with many exotic plants, have enchanting names such as Liselotteplatz or Hölderlinweg, and lead you up to the Heiligenberg.
