JESUIT CHURCH
The church has become a museum of sacred art, displaying liturgical objects, statues of saints, chalices and silverware.
The Jesuit church is an architectural masterpiece of the 18th century. The baroque façade is decorated with statues of Ignatius of Loyola. The white, majestic and cold interior, enhanced by Corinthian columns partly gilded, has beautiful paintings, especially in the choir. The neo-baroque tower was added only later, between 1868 and 1872. The museum of sacred art with its treasure room is attached to the church and is open to the public. It contains, among other things, ancient liturgical objects, statues of saints, chalices and gold and silverware.
