STERNWARTE STUTTGART - OBSERVATOIRE DE STUTTGART
The Stuttgart Observatory is located in the Park hinter der Sternwarte. It is one of the oldest representatives of observatories in Germany and belongs to the non-profit association "Schwäbische Sternwarte e.V.", an association founded in 1919, which is responsible in particular for promoting this original place located in an equally important part of the city. It is the members of the association who visit the site and provide astronomical observations during the day (from the Sun) and in the evening (Moon, planets and some deep sky objects). Passionate enthusiasts will come to the site mainly to discover the beautiful 180 mm diameter Zeiss bezel installed on its splendid mount. However, depending on the number of visitors during the evenings, it is possible that other instruments may be installed by the association, including another high-performance but modern telescope, as well as a 400 mm diameter telescope. Considering the particularly attractive prices, there is no reason not to visit this very attractive observatory.
