COLLEGIATE CHURCH OF STUTTGART
Old church dating from the 14th centuries, featuring an octagonal tower and several tombs of the Counts of Württemberg.
The oldest church in the city center, one of the city's symbols, easily recognizable by its richly carved octagonal tower. Dating from the 14th and 15th centuries, Stuttgart's collegiate church, in German Stiftskirche, is the main place of worship for the Protestant community, historically the majority in the region. This place of worship is home to several tombs of the Counts of Württemberg. Destroyed by bombing in 1944, the exterior has been faithfully rebuilt.
