BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG REGIONAL MUSEUM
Museum presenting the social, military and religious history of the town and land through costumes, armor, swords...
The Baden-Württemberg Regional Museum is housed in a beautiful, traditional building next to the castle. The three floors of exhibits tell the social, military and religious history of the city and the state. On the first floor there is an exhibition on the history of costume and a brilliant collection of armor, swords and halberds. On the second floor, there is religious art from the 13th and 14th centuries with beautiful polychrome wooden statues. On the top floor there are numerous funerary objects from prehistory and antiquity, including the famous tomb of the Celtic prince of Hochdorf.
