The Linden is one of the largest museums of ethnology in Europe. Six geographical sections introduce visitors to past and present cultures. In total, the museum houses approximately 160,000 art and everyday objects from all over the world: Africa, North America, Latin America, the Islamic Orient, South and Southeast Asia, East Asia and Oceania. Excellent temporary exhibitions are presented.

Musée des traditions du monde
Petit musée intéressant à faire en famille et abordable. On parcourt les cultures traditionnelles du monde réparties par espace géographique. La scénographie fait voyager le visiteur aux 4 coins du monde comme s'il était au XIXe siècle. J'ai ressenti un brin d'esprit colonialiste dans cette scénographie surannée.

Superbe petit musée ! Les objets sont mis en valeur par des décors et des ambiances qui permettent de se projeter de continents en continents. Belle boutique souvenir aussi, avec des produits variés.
