FRIEDRICHSBAD ROEMERPLATZ
The Friedrichsbad is the great spa institution that was responsible for the glory of Baden-Baden in the th century and made the city the "summer" capital of Europe. Today the Friedrichsbad belongs to the same group as the Caracalla its young neighbour, Carsana. It is based on its Irish-Roman tradition, a formula unique to the world invented in the last century by an Irish doctor who had a simple but very wise idea: combine the Roman thermal baths with hot baths at different temperatures to the Irish tradition of the steam bath, adding bubbles and movements of whirlpool baths. The Friedrichsbad offers a range of therapy through different rooms, in the context of its majestic neo-classical architecture, which makes the most of marble and majoliques frescoes. Attention, bath is mixed and nudity is compulsory, it is better to assume before you start!
