Small Byzantine church built between 1880 and 1882, featuring a gilded bell tower and beautiful icons to the sound of Orthodox choirs.

The Russian Church of Baden-Baden (also known as the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord) was built between 1880 and 1882 by Belzer in pure Byzantine style, at the request of the aristocratic Russian community vacationing in the town. The small church proudly displays its golden bell tower, majestic and gleaming on sunny days. Inside, you can admire beautiful, typical icons to the sound of Orthodox choirs. Mass is celebrated every1st,3rd and4th weekend of the month: Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 10am.
