The Merchants House, formerly headquarters of the municipal administration of markets, customs and finance, is easily spotted by its beautiful invoice and red brick. During the Middle Ages, the merchant traders, then the Fribourg merchants had to show their goods. The building presents arms in relief as well as statues testifying to the good relations maintained by the municipality with the Habsburg.
