PRATER GARTEN
German and Austrian kitchens in this beautiful Biergarten, which is also the oldest in the city. Its creation dates back to 1837!
The oldest Biergarten in Berlin (founded in 1837!), on the popular Kastanienallee, still has its followers. Sitting elbow to elbow around long wooden tables, the students begin their evening when young parents with their strollers and the neighbourhood workers drink the last beer of the day. The restaurant welcomes you in a typically Germanic style with its wood panelling and sober aesthetics. German and Austrian cuisine as well as seasonal specialities such as roast goose can also be enjoyed here.
