Opened by three young restaurateurs, a Mexican, an American and an Australian, the Maria Bonita says no to Deutsch-Mex in favour of a real Mexican street food: we're not in Oaxaca, but we're getting close to Berlin. Attended by Anglo-Saxon expatriates as well as locals, it's a guaranteed change of scenery in this tiny restaurant. Ceviches, tacos carnitas, tacos camarone and burritos remind us well of the flavours of there. All of this washed down with a fresh Corona. Each week, a different specialty is also offered.
