For three generations now, the Hauptmann family has been looking after the well-being of its guests. The rooms are cosy, the welcome warm and the atmosphere familiar. Within the walls of the establishment, memories of yesteryear resonate with paintings, maps and photographs of old Berlin. But don't be fooled into thinking that it's old-fashioned! The rooms have been nicely refurbished, the breakfast room has been recently renovated, and the hotel is even home to the cozy Ausspanne German specialty restaurant!

The rooms are no-frills, but comfortable. The hotel is run by very friendly and accommodating people.
The location is perfect with a tram stop right outside the hotel's front doors. The neighborhood is amazing and quintessential Berlin.
