The Matrix attracts a very young, mainly tourist audience, partly due to the many youth hostels in the vicinity. The Matrix's popularity with the younger crowd is undoubtedly also due to a well-known German reality TV series that was partly filmed at the Matrix: Berlin Tag & Nacht (Berlin day & night). You won't find a typically Berlin atmosphere here. On the other hand, the venue is quite large - seven rooms - and offers a heterogeneous, albeit mainly commercial, music program.

Odd to go down under the metro to go dancing... But the place is crazy, the atmosphere is boosted... Not of electro with sucker and international tubes! A good evening the European capitals, but nothing typical berlin...
