The Gallery Weekend includes numerous events, openings and guided tours through almost fifty galleries in Berlin.
The Gallery Weekend brings together nearly 1,000 guest artists and curators in Berlin, nearly 50 participating galleries and as many exhibitions and vernissages. Since 2005, the Gallery Weekend has been a public success, but it is also a major challenge for sales on the art market. The event attracts collectors from all over the world in search of up-and-coming artists. The districts with the most galleries are Mitte, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. No wonder that the weekend is accompanied by parties of all kinds.
