DOROTHEENSTÄDTISCHER FRIEDHOF
Small cemetery with numerous graves of architects, sculptors, philosophers, musicians and writers.
There are many illustrious graves in this small cemetery, including those of the architects and sculptors Schinkel, Schadow and Rauch, the philosophers Hegel and Fichte, the musician Hans Eisler, and the writers Bertold Brecht and Helene Weigel, Anna Seghers, Heinich Mann and Heiner Müller. A small section of the cemetery houses the graves of the Huguenot community of Berlin in the 18th century. Not far away, at 125 Chausseestraße, is Brecht's house.
