ALTER ST MATTHÄUS-KIRCHHOF
A pretty little cemetery in Berlin, dating from the century, with a burial plot, a grave and a memorial.
This pretty little cemetery from the 19th century is best known for housing the grave of the Brothers Grimm, simple stelae placed on top of a hill. There is also the tomb of Rudolf Virchow, a doctor at the Charity Hospital and a politician involved in the German Progressive Party, as well as a memorial to Claus von Stauffenberg, the German officer who was one of the central figures of the resistance against Hitler, shot after the failure of Operation Walkyrie.
