SCHÖNEBERG RATHAUS
A symbolic town hall that allows you to enjoy the flea market and stroll through Berlin's Rudolf-Wilde Park.
The building is rather ugly but it is for the symbolic value that we will come to have a look. It was in front of the Rathaus in Schöneberg, then West Berlin's town hall, that the American president John F. Kennedy pronounced his famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" in 1963! Take advantage of the Flea Market (Flohmarkt Rathaus Schöneberg, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) to visit this highly symbolic place. Continue the walk in the Rudolf-Wilde Park, a haven of peace and quiet which is crossed by the U4 underground line.
