MARTIN-GROPIUS-BAU
High-quality temporary exhibition venue housed in a neo-Renaissance building built between 1877 and 1881.
Built between 1877 and 1881 by the architect of the same name in a neo-Renaissance style, the Martin-Gropius-Bau was largely destroyed during the Second World War. Today it has been restored to its original design. The building now serves as a venue for high-quality temporary exhibitions. From Ai Weiwei to the David Bowie exhibition, the programming is always excellent. Check the website for current exhibitions. The building you see across the street is the Abgeordnentenhaus, Berlin's state parliament.
