MUSEUM FÜR FOTOGRAFIE & HELMUT NEWTON STIFTUNG
Berlin-based museum collecting photographic works and presenting a permanent exhibition dedicated to Helmut Newton.
The Museum of Photography brings together all the photographic works from the National Museums of Berlin, whose collections are presented in temporary exhibitions. But the largest part of the museum (ground floor and first floor) is occupied by a permanent exhibition entirely devoted to Helmut Newton: a dizzying collection of mainly female nudes, mostly in black and white. He died in 2004 and decided to bequeath his work to his hometown.
