Founded in the early 1990s by Klaus Biesenbach (current director of MOCA in Los Angeles), this institute of contemporary art is a must in the small art world. Very trendy and a true spearhead of the contemporary art scene, the KW does not have a permanent collection but its program offers a wide variety of exhibitions in different formats. In the small paved and wooded courtyard is the museum café, Café Bravo, an ideal place to take a break after the visit.
