KEFTA PRÈS DES TOMBEAUX SAADIENS
The kefta (minced meat and spices) in tajine with egg and tomato in a Moroccan way, or in simple grilling as in most Eastern countries, is a national sport. Small or large, all restaurants offer them, but it seems that the best ones in the medina are prepared near the Saadian tombs. When you turn your back on the El Yazid mosque, take the rue de la Kasbah to the left, pass in front of the tombs and the palace la Sultana. The street offers a plethora of grills. Right row, 2nd shop (trick to recognize the address, the seller has a big beard): you have arrived. The kefta skewers are not very big but juicy, the price unbeatable and the friendly welcome! You will meet mainly local customers.
