Access to Riad Zahir is a bit like visiting the Moroccan South and entering the Berber tradition. Along the garden overlooking Plaza Laârous, you will find nearby Riad Zahir… its walls will take you and its blue door that sets the tone. Here you will not be living in a classic Riad but in a separate place. With its influence of the Berber kasbah, this place beholder by its charm is an invitation to travel. The rooms are fully equipped, air-conditioned and with Wi-Fi access, two with a private terrace on the floor. You can also indulge in a massage bath or simply a pleasant dinner by the pool. Cooked with love by Bouchra, the dishes offered at each meal are the image of the place: irresistible!

We felt extremely lucky to have chosen Riad Zahir. Helena, the owner, was incredible. She waited up to greet us into the early hours of the morning because of our late flight. She is generous with her time and always willing to give advice and help in any way she can. We were taken aback at the beautiful authentic interiors and cleanliness. Breakfasts prepared by Helena and Fatima were wonderful and never rushed. She held our luggage and allowed us to keep the keys to use her facilities long after check out time on our day of departure. The Souks and hustle and bustle of Marrakech were exhausting, however, despite the close proximity to the main streets it was incredibly quiet once inside the walls of this Riad and so peaceful. Il riad è molto accogliente e curato. La posizione perfetta, molto centrale e facile da raggiungere. La colazione è fatta sul momento, tipica e deliziosa. La proprietaria è una persona gentilissima ed estremamente disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente!

Gastgeberin aus Frankreich sehr nett freundlich hilfsbereit. Sauber, Frühstück von Fatima war ein Traum. 2 süße Katzen. Die Besitzer Helena war sehr hilfsbereit und gab uns viele Tipps. Auf alle Fälle ein Besuch wert. Kleines Manko vielleicht als zusatz verdienst (Abend essen anbieten).

My partner and I stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it. I see a lot of reviews here with names I don't recognise but Helene (who took on the Riad just before COVID) was an absolutely brilliant host. Fatima kept us well fed and watered every morning and never failed to share a big smile with us at every opportunity.

The room was spacious, cool and very clean with a 'newly refurbed' feel to it. Comfortable bed and quiet even when other residents were coming in and out through the evening etc.

The pool area is not huge but plenty enough for an afternoon cool down and chilling out with a book. The rooftop is nice abut we didn't spend too much time as it was 38 degrees!

Highly recommend staying here, Helene & Fatima will go out of their way to ensure you're happy and can help with booking taxis, spa visits etc.
