This large guest house is made up of 5 small riads, some of whose walls are more than 400 years old! The air-conditioned suites benefit from satellite TV, CD player, Ipod station, direct dial telephone and Modem sockets. Each bathroom seems straight out of a fairy tale. The decoration is refined, elegant and without any taste. A traditional hammam in white marble, a heated swimming pool with a jet underneath the water to swim against, a lit dining room with candles, a garden and a barbecue on the terrace equipped with solarium and several lounges to relax, all this amply justifies the rates charged by this exceptional house. Also note, private access in a garden with large swimming pool outside the medina. Reception and impeccable service. From the top of the line.

There are 10 suites and ours was over 2 floors with a lounge area downstairs and a bedroom (huge, comfy bed) and bathroom (with a selection of shower gels and shampoo/conditioner and the best towels I've ever had in a hotel) upstairs, leading onto a terrace with table, sun loungers and view. There is also a sun terrace where you can sit. Room service was seamless and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is included - yogurt and fruit, breads and eggs, with coffee or tea) I can't recommend Le Farnatchi enough. Apparently many of the staff have been there for years and it shows in the best way. They are all fluent in English (and other languages) so can help easily with any problems.
