We have been leaving London, in a rainy day of March, and we landed in a sunny, busy, crowded but safe town. When you enter the main door at the Riad l'Orangeraie you are welcomed by the orange blossom fragrance from the orange trees. The place is simply amazing. We'have been stunned by the elegance of the common areas and of the rooms. We were warmly welcomed by each member of the staff, particularly Aziz who gave us precious information about the town. Delicious dinner on the roof garden under the first small moon crescent of the first days of Ramadan. A short trip in heaven..

Riad l'Orangeraie is beautifully presented with traditional and opulent decor; more importantly the staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional. Cyril was incredibly helpful - we arrived for New Year celebrations and found ourselves in a difficult spot after a delayed UK flight and cancelled bookings, he saved the day from being ruined. The service and friendliness of the staff was high quality. The sight and smell of oranges is a treat for the senses. I would highly recommend staying here.

At Riad l'Orangeraie you'll find all the calm and serenity you're looking for after a day in the Medina. Behind these high walls, where luxury and simplicity meet, the staff welcome you as family with the thoughtfulness and professionalism for which the Riad is renowned.
Cyril, the owner, and Aziz, the manager, will take care of you throughout your stay, making your trip a unique experience tailored to your wishes.
The rooms, which are very quiet, have all the comfort of a luxury hotel and reflect the typical decor of Marrakech.
The hotel's restaurant, on the terrace, offers excellent traditional cuisine and was the best restaurant we ate in during our stay in the city. Breakfast is also very copious and will keep you going until the evening.
All we want to do is go back!

I am a 35 year Hospitality professional and have manages and stayed in numerous luxury hotels in my life. NEVER have I experienced anything like L'Orangerie. Cyril and his team are second to none. Every detail, thought and need has been accounted for and delivered on. The service epitomizes an adage that I taught my staffs, "excellent service is like a butterfly, seen but never felt. These guys have that to a tee. The service is authentic and genuine and you feel their passion for hospitality. From the night manager to the kind woman that welcomed me back to the Riad durning the day to the server for breakfast.

As far as the design, ambiance and comfort of the Riad, it is simply spectacular. Once you walk through the Medina and go through the big wooden door to the Riad you are in an oasis of clam, quiet, peace and understated luxury. There are no hanging Moraccan lanterns or tacky touristy decor, just simple, clean, design forward, elegant surroundings. From the entrance to the rooms to the incredible rooftop retreat, you can see the love, passion and class that went into every detail of the Riad.

The location of L'Orangerie is perfect. Its a 5 min walk to a side gate of the Riad so you dont need to play bumper cars with thousands of tourists. It is 5 min to the main square and its in a quiet, more residential area in the Medina.

Again as a hospitality professional and someone that has traveled and lived in dozens of international locations, what Cyril and his team has created is unique, amazing and not to be missed!
