SHRINE OF THE SEVEN SAINTS
Place des 7 tours massives, paying homage to the 7 more or less well-known patron saints of the city of Marrakech
These seven massive dry-stone towers topped by an olive tree pay homage to the city's patron saints who watch over it. The group of the 7 more or less known saints is composed of Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, Cadi Ayad who gave his name to the university, Sidi ben Abbès, Sidi Slimane el Jazouli, Sidi Abdelazid Tebaa, Abdellah el Ghazouani and Imane Souheili. Their graves are scattered in various places in the medina and a pilgrimage takes place every year, the ziara. At the foot of these buildings, you will find the station of large collective taxis.
