SOUK SEMARINE
Go there and contact
The Souk Semarine, once occupied by farriers and blacksmiths, is now populated by bazaarists who sell everything.
Rue El-Ksour leads into the famous Souk Semarine. This is probably the busiest and liveliest street in the district. If you turn right, you'll reach Place Jemaâ el-Fna in a straight line, but this route is far from the most interesting: the Semarine souk is mainly populated by bazaar vendors selling anything and everything, and kissaria (covered markets). The name Semarine comes from masmare, meaning "nail". The district was once occupied by blacksmiths.
