Souk El-Kebir in Marrakech, where to find bags and famous wallets: maroquins

The street of Souk Semarine is extended by that of Souk el-Kebir. It is there that one of the 18 trades that make up this labyrinth, that of the leatherworkers. Here, everything is only leather and skins stretched around the stalls. You will of course find bags, belts, or poufs, made from goat or calf, but also the famous wallets that have made the glory of Marrakech. This very busy street has also become the lair of bazaarists: glassware and synthetic fabrics, without much interest for the foreign visitor.
